Twitter Reacts to Aspen Ladd’s UFC Debut at #UFCGdansk

From the moment Aspen Ladd’s walkout music welcomed her into UFC Fight Night 118 to the blood-curdling screams echoing throughout Poland’s Ergo Arena that put a bow on her UFC debut, Twitter sprouted with a growing interest in the newest bantamweight added to the roster.

When ‘The Promontory’ from The Last of the Mohicans soundtrack cracked over the speakers, the same stoic stare her rabid swarm of followers had become accustomed to while competing under Invicta Fighting Championships’ banner reappeared. As was the case in her previous five contests, the face of MMAGOLD in El Dorado Hills, California eagerly crossed the Atlantic Ocean to reconstruct the bone structure of Lina Lansberg:

Though Ladd, as usual, acted as if she’d been shot from a cannon at the referee’s behest, much of the round was locked in a clinch. The brief moments of separation leaned in Lansberg’s favor:

Between rounds, Ladd’s corner implored her: drag Lansberg to the mat. Much like Dr. Jekyll’s transformation to Mr. Hyde, she drank the potion of instructions:

A tenderizing ground-and-pound raised the decibels surrounding the cage, but Ladd could be heard over all the noise, pairing her punishment with a piercing scream:

As usual, the undefeated prospect left an impression upon onlookers, and the value of her MMA stock continues to rise:

Aspen Ladd: Not Only Are Her Elbows A Royal Pain

Set to debut in the UFC, again, Aspen Ladd (5-0) will travel halfway around the globe to meet Lina ‘Elbow Princess’ Lansberg (7-2) at UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland.

During the UFC’s summer extravaganza, more commonly known as: International Fight Week, Ladd was expected to go head-to-head with Jessica ‘Evil’ Eye during The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 25 Finale. An untimely illness corked Ladd’s explosive entrance into the UFC’s women’s bantamweight division.

Though Lansberg is recognized as ‘Elbow Princess,’ Ladd smashed her way through Invicta Fighting Championships’ circuit using the attack of an alchemist, training with mettle alongside her squadron in El Dorado Hills, California: MMAGOLD.

Ladd’s domination in the all-female fight league quickly gained traction as fight fans witnessed her development firsthand by logging into the UFC’s membership stream: UFC Fight Pass. Each visit to the cage highlighted a new facet to Ladd’s game. Early in her career, she focused on flattening opponents against the canvas and smashing them through it; thereafter, such as in her most recent encounter versus Sijara Eubanks at IFC 21, a greater propensity to slug it out on the feet was showcased.

On October 21, 2017, Ladd returns to the UFC’s digital stream to serve Lansberg her second loss in the UFC, remaining undefeated and leaving Europe with a swath of new, loyal subjects that will follow her rise to the 135-pound throne.
