CFC 2: Results & Recap

April 14, 2018—Following the second show of California Fighting Championship (CFC), CFC 2, with plans in place for more in the future, both amateur and professional mixed martial artists surrounding Northern California, the Central Valley, and beyond have yet another option to acquire the necessary experience to burst the hardpan of MMA’s regional seal.

With a card that struggled to make it to the finish line intact, CFC’s promoter and matchmaker, Oscar Martinez, conjured up a carnival of combat—most of which was approved by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC). Prior to the scheduled MMA with the CFC Heavyweight Title hanging in the balance, CFC 2 hosted a grappling match and a pair of youth boxers highlighting their handiwork in front of everyone inside Sonora’s High Country Sports Arena.
