Nate Diaz Is Interested In Bringing some 209 to #UFC222

With Max Holloway out of the headlining slot opposite Frankie ‘The Answer’ Edgar at UFC 222, there may be a chance for fight fans to still be blessed with a blockbuster main event on March 3, 2018.

In a recent discussion with Lance Pugmire of the LA Times, Northern California’s Nate Diaz revealed his interest in claiming the vacant corner across from the former UFC Lightweight Champion representing Toms River, New Jersey.

Edgar has no intention of missing the cash grab granted to those at the top of a pay-per-view’s bill, as outlined in an Instagram post following the unfortunate news of Holloway’s injury.

Although Edgar invests considerable stock in the ownership of a championship belt, it’s impossible to deny the draw power of Stockton’s son; in fact, Diaz recently declared a potential return in May or June, though he also reminded everyone of his status in mixed martial arts as: “The Real Champ.”
