Danny Ramirez is paid ‘The Realist’ amount of respect by Campbell McLaren

Campbell McLaren, the UFC’s co-creator and CEO of Combate Americas, has been involved in the hurt business for over two decades; therefore, to make his list of ‘Top 3 Fights of 2017’ is one of ‘The Realist’ compliments a mixed martial artist can receive.

After signing a multi-fight contract with Combate Americas, Danny ‘The Realist’ Ramirez (6-3) enthusiastically cut the ribbon to his time with the Latino-flavored MMA promotion in a memorable war of attrition against Erick ‘The Ghost Pepper’ Gonzalez.

There was incredible heat between Ramirez and Gonzalez leading into their lightweight affair at Combate 11, and each swing of the fist or well-measured slam is what fuels everyone’s intrigue in the sport.

Looking ahead to 2018, Ramirez will be on the hunt for more accolades when he returns to La Jaula.
