In addition to Sacramento’s Total Health and Fitness Expo providing valuable information about ways to improve your well-being, the two days at Cal Expo also plan to roll out an opportunity for visitors to witness several of their pamphlets come to life in its most competitive form.
The ‘gentle art’ of Jiu-Jitsu can get the blood pumping, which is good for the heart, mind, and spirit. Over the course of The Health and Fitness Expo’s weekend pitstop in Northern California, Uriah Faber’s Ultimate Fitness will host two days of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for those grappling with the decision to wrap themselves up in a game of human chess.
On January 13, 2018, Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, either Gi or No Gi, can enter the Capitol Grappling Championship Submission Only Tournament. For information about how to register for the tournament, email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those who didn’t tap out after the first day of fun, the following day places David Mitchell, one of the region’s highest profile Jiu-Jitsu competitors, onto the mat to teach a seminar to anyone interested.
Throughout the weekend, members of Team Alpha Male, as well as Urijah Faber—the team’s general, will be in attendance and available for autographs and picture.
