Matt Wagy: Wager on A Demolition Derby as Bellator MMA’s Main Event on November 19

In the final pitstop of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Bellator MMA’s crew will construct their cage at the Ford EcoBoost 400, which will be hosted at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, on Sunday, November 19, 2017, and Matt Wagy (10-4), a member of Team Alpha Male (TAM), will punctuate a phenomenal win-streak with an exclamation point if he can defeat Kester ‘The Question’ Mark (5-4-1) as the evening’s main attraction.

Since mid-2015, Wagy has punched the accelerator of his MMA career, piecing together seven straight victories. More impressive than the numerous times Wagy’s hand was raised in a row: five of these contests forced the referee to wave the checkered flag within the opening frame.

When Wagy isn’t cracking his opposition’s chassis in the first five-minutes, this Florida-native, who moved his training to the elite team in Northern California, engages in wars of attrition, such as his Fight of the Night encounter with Ty Costa at West Coast Fighting Championship 18.

Sandwiched between Wagy’s November return home and last visit to a caged cubicle, Conquer Fighting Championships 4, he enrolled his artistic expression of violence into an eight-man Combat Jiu-Jitsu tournament at XFN Fights. Not only did the Wagy, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt, excel in the shark-infested waters of mostly brown and black belts, but he completed the brackets at the top of the food chain.

Next, Wagy will be featured in his highest profile prizefight to date versus Kester Mark. Of course, Mark has ended two of his prior three, with a draw stuffed in the center, but Wagy feels primed to land a photo finish strike with the impact of a head-on collision.
