Twitter Reacts to Josh Emmett’s Featherweight Debut at #UFCGdansk

Josh Emmett (12-1) reintroduced himself to the UFC’s audience at 145-pounds, and those following along on Twitter, over the course of the three-round affair, appeared eager for the Team Alpha Male standout’s return.

Facing Felipe Arantes (18-9), a crafty featherweight with ten visits to the Octagon, at UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland, Emmett turned his right hand loose once released from his corner:

All the power housed in the lightweight division transferred to his new home, which was detailed in the number of instances Arantes was sent tumbling to the canvas:

In a similar fashion as those who flocked to a fight card featuring Emmett in Northern California, MMA enthusiasts from every corner of the globe inched closer to the edge of their seat:

Though Emmett’s pace exited the red during the second frame, a late takedown secured the scorecards in his favor:

Emmett pressed the accelerator to the floorboards and closed the final five-minutes in his favor:

Not only was Emmett prepared to perform at his peak in Poland, the pro since 2011 had another destination in mind: UFC Fresno on December 9, 2017, which he shared during his post-fight interview. What did Twitter have to say?

Would you like to see Emmett only several hours from his Sacramento headquarters? Who would you like to see him matched against?
