The front office at Tachi Palace Fights (TPF) finalized their upcoming event—TPF 33, a mid-week melee set for November 2, 2017, which is so stacked with talent: MMA enthusiasts are clamoring for the curtain to close on the weekend. TPF 33 will be streamed from the belly of Tachi Palace Casino & Hotel in Lemoore, California to YouTube (link here), and the fourteen gladiators slated on the card would suggest: missing TPF’s latest edition would be more frightening than any ghouls or goblins experienced only days prior.
Main Event: Rolando Velasco vs. Rodrigo Lima in the bantamweight division
Rolando ‘The Machine’ Velasco (13-4-1) has contracted his services with TPF since 2012, and his two losses with the promotion were for the 135-pound title. Fully-charged with preparation from The Last Stand Fight Team in Oakdale, ‘The Machine’ is energized for a long-awaited return to the office—his first in 2017.
In the sixteen-fight career of Rodrigo ‘Ratinho’ Lima (12-4), all of his losses appeared over the course of the Brazilian’s last six bouts, verifying: the value of his adversaries has been rising.
Co-Main Event: Tony Llamas vs. Sergio Quinones in the featherweight division
Tony Llamas (16-15) will have considerable cage rust to remove, along with the normal jitters associated with combat sports. Although Llamas, a product of Fearless Fighters Gym in Porterville, accumulated a five-fight win-streak, he’s been absent from the job site long enough for twenty-four pages to fall from the calendar.
Known as ‘The Outlaw,’ Sergio Quinones (10-19) looks to steal the show in front of his faithful hometown collective. Lemoore’s own, representing Team Ochoa, may not have the strongest record in MMA, but in his previous pair of contests—both on the TPF canvas—Quinones stole the souls, both by way of submission, of his opposition.
TPF 33 also includes:
Chris ‘The Law’ Lewis (2-0) vs. Mitchell ‘No Dice’ Sipe (2-0) in the heavyweight division
Joe ‘Nine Lives’ Neal (6-2) vs. Drake ‘Sticks and Stones’ Boen (5-3) in the featherweight division
Lamar ‘Lion King’ Reed (6-4) vs. JC ‘The Leg Lock Monster’ Llamas (8-7) in the welterweight division
Ysidro ‘Chilo’ Gutierrez (2-1) vs. Art ‘Warhorse’ Hernandez (3-0) in the lightweight division
Van ‘Butter’ Palacio (4-2) vs. Mohammed ‘The Motor’ Usman (2-0) in the heavyweight division
