Aaron Pico: The Second Time Is the Charm at Bellator 183

September 23, 2017After Aaron Pico fell short in his highly-anticipated debut, he earned redemption, and then some, at Bellator 183.

Not many, mixed martial artists or otherwise, are granted a second chance, but Pico hit the reset switch on his professional career after locating the off-switch to Justin Linn’s consciousness, answering any of his doubters with a violent exclamation point.

Following Pico’s punishing punch, an eerie silence filled San Jose’s SAP Center because Linn remained immobile on the canvas. Eventually, Linn would return to his feet of his own accord, but it was a frightening moment amid all the excitement of such a devastating finish.
