Yaya Rincon: Slaying A Giant at Invicta FC 25

August 31, 2017—Shaianna ‘Yaya’ Rincon (2-0), a natural bantamweight, reduced Courtney King, a 145-pound boulder, to rubble in the featherweight division at Invicta Fighting Championships 25.

Rincon may have been at a ten-pound disadvantage based on body mass when bounding into the center of Tachi Palace Casino, but the size of her heart leveled the playing field. In a tale of two rounds, the budding prospect out of MMAGOLD collected more crazed followers approximately midway through the second round.

Blasting into the middle frame, Rincon bullied King to the canvas and nailed her coffin shut with concussive elbows.

Referee Josh Rosenthal refused to allow King to incur any more punishment; therefore, he waved off the contest:

Whether at featherweight, bantamweight, or a catchweight in-between, Invicta FC’s newest star has fight fans foaming at the mouth for her return.
