Conquer Fighting Championships will arrive, once again, at the beautiful waterfront Craneway Pavilion in Point Richmond, California. On March 18th, the Pavilion will open its doors to fight fans of all ages. Adding to the pristine, breathtaking views of the bay from the former Ford plant, CFC has put together a stacked lineup for your viewing pleasure. The featured main event is two veterans of the MMA scene: Fabricio Guerreiro vs. Efrain Escudero.
Guerreiro has an impressive record of 21-4. His career began in 2009, from Santa Amapa Brazil. A black belt in Judo, his last win came by way of submission via arm bar in the 1st round earlier this year. Guerreiro is no stranger to finishing his fights. He’s collected 18 finishes out of 21 wins over his opponents; most his wins are in the first round – 13 finishes with varying submission victories. Look for him to lock in another 1st round finish to impress the crowd at the Craneway Pavilion.
While Guerreiro’s course of action is to build off his recent win, the man that stands to hinder his plans for the night is Efrain Escudero. Escudero, an All-American Wrestler, and winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 8 is currently on a 2-fight win streak with victories coming from promotions in Belgium and Japan. Fighting out of Tempe, Arizona, he holds a record of 26-12 since his career began in 2006.
In the co-main event, two lightweights will square off: Bren O’Neal vs. Jordan Bailey. The two fighters have been inactive in 2016 and are eager to thrill the crowd. Look for both fighters to take the center of the cage and showcase their talent.
NorCal MMA’s Fight Flying Under the Radar at CFC 3
The main card kicks off with Aaron Hamilton vs. Jumoke Hunter in a welterweight bout. Hamilton has his eyes set on another win to add to his resume. His most recent win came by submission via guillotine choke against Kevin “Baby Slice” Ferguson Jr. at Bellator 165: Chandler vs. Henderson. Hamilton’s opponent is on a 2-fight losing streak, and he intends to change the tide at the Port of Richmond in front of the Bay Area crowd.
